Memphis in May Hires New Director of Marketing
The Memphis in May International Festival announced today that it has selected Memphis native Robert Griffin as the new Director of Marketing.
After starting his career in the promotions department of WMC-FM100, Griffin comes to Memphis in May with nearly twenty years’ experience in marketing and advertising, having worked for such regional and national brands as LYFE Kitchen, Southland Park Gaming and Racing, and Palm Beach Tan among others.
In his new role, Griffin will be responsible for all marketing and communication programs, media and public relations, merchandising, and promotions for the internationally recognized annual Festival.
“We are excited to welcome Robert to our team,” said James L. Holt, President and CEO of Memphis in May. “His energy and experience will fit perfectly with our organization, and while we received applications from across the country to fill this role, we were fortunate to find someone with the passion for Memphis and local knowledge that Robert has.”
Griffin will begin his new role at Memphis in May on Thursday, March 9, 2017.
